After leaving art college, I worked for Oxford University press producing drawings for text books, A & C Black – illustrating ‘Big Iggy’ by Kaye Umansky and drawings for a re issue of an Edward Lear story ‘The New Vestments’.
Whilst travelling I freelanced for several publications including Conde Naste travel magazine, brochures for Falcon Sailing, Sunworld and editorial pictures for Boards Magazine.
Having produced work for a series of books for Citybus Plymouth, this proved highly successful in local schools. ‘Dennis Dart” helped to promote safe bus travel in an educational way. The books sold through Waterstones and went on to win a Business Award for Citybus.
My latest project has been working on an
interactive educational book produced for London schools to provide help for children with language and interaction with family and school.
